As we were leaving, we ran into a photographer who shoots for Nat. Geo. and Arizona Highways. He was setting up this shot, and was SOOO nice when he saw us and our cameras. He said c'mon over and join me, this light will only last about 90 seconds.

You are kidding me!! I would have picked his little brain right on the spot!! :) That is so awesome, as is this shot with the reflection.
I commented on the boards, but have to say it again...a gorgeous shot of one of my very very favorite places! I still think we should meet there one of these days and just spend the whole day shooting!
What a beautiful shot - so many eye catching elements. You are right, lighting is everything.
