A little bit of Flagstaff.

I haven't been able to play with my camera to much since I've been here, but this one is right outside my son's front door. I wanted the front of it to be sharper, and still keep the clouds soft. So how should I have done this??

Where was your focus point in this shot. If you had focused on the foreground, I would think it would be sharper and the background more blurred. I think it's a beautiful shot!

Tripod definitely helps with landscape/nature shots. where was your focal point?

My focal point did not end up where I thought it was. It was so cold that day, I was shivering. should've used the tripod. I actually thought I was focusing on the front side of the hill where the trees are. I see what you are saying about the tripod. And the sad thing is, it was in the house!!

I love the shot...regardless of the sharpness. The softness almost lends itself to the dreamy feeling of the sky.

Did you sharpen for web?
